Job Description

MŌ TĒNEU TŪRANGA MAHI - ABOUT THE ROLE

Family Planning are currently looking for Registered Nurse`s with positions available in our Henderson, Takapuna, Newmarket, Manukau and Papakura Clinic, including virtual services. We have part time and full-time positions available, with flexible hours of work from 24 – 40 hours each week. This is a great opportunity to work hours that suit you and your work life balance. Please indicate in your covering letter your preferred location/s of work and availability of hours between 24 and 40 per week.

As a Family Planning Nurse you will be providing a full range of sexual and reproductive health care to our clients. Our Nurses work in clinic and providing virtual consultations which includes our DECIDE telehealth service. Supporting your work- life balance is important to us and we are open to discussing different working options to allow you to do the things that matter. This is a rare opportunity that requires no night shifts or split shifts, offering flexibility and a competitive hourly rate along with the opportunity to upskill in the field of sexual and reproductive health.

Family Planning is dedicated to providing our Nurses with an excellent professional development and training programme. This includes NZQA accredited training courses run by expert professionals. Nurses can also be considered for progression pathways as designated prescribers and Nurse Practitioners.

  • Ideally experienced in Sexual & Reproductive Health (not essential as full training will be given).
  • Experienced with connecting and working with diverse communities.
  • New Zealand registered with a current practicing certificate
