We are looking for a Service Facilities Support Engineer to join our growing team and support the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) in Prague, Czech Republic.

In this key position, you will provide engineering support to anomaly analysis to confirm prioritization of the treatments in the frame of the different industrial contracts.About the client and location
The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) is a European Union (EU) agency aiming to represent public interest and safety with regards to all satellite navigation programmes within the EU. Based in Prague, Czech Republic, EUSPA is the only EU organization dedicated to space exploration. They play a crucial role in the operational management of Galileo, as well as being involved with the services and data produced by other European satellites such as EGNOS, GOVSATCOM and Copernicus.
This position is to be based in Prague, Czech Republic, at the EUSPA HQ in Prague, Czech Republic.
Tasks and Activities
The scope of work will include:
- Engineering support to anomaly analysis to confirm prioritization of the treatments in the frame of the different industrial contracts considering programme schedule constraints.
- Participation with the industry to the different ARBs and NRBs.
- Support to the accreditation process by ensuring timely provision of documentation such as:
- Analysis of the interconnections between different chains involved in the deployment strategy.
- Liaising with industry for collecting additional documents such as ABCLs.
- Configuration inspection reports.
- This activity will also require some support on site for independent inspections and penetration tests.
- Support to the service facilities from the engineering point of view, interfacing with the industry in order to solve possible issues/problems.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- A Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, with at least five years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in the space and defence field, possibly in the EGNOS and/or Galileo programmes.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, team working capabilities, time management skills, analytical thinking and a problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- In possession of an EU citizenship and eligible for a Personal Security Clearance.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
- A working knowledge of other European languages, both written and spoken.
