MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To lead and manage the operations of warehouse, Develop the policies and workflow and continuously grow and develop the business for future sustainability and expansion in the SA
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Develop and implement the Warehousing and Logistics business development strategy
- Drive and manage the setup of warehouse facilities for the company
- Effective warehouse management practices are implemented to ensure optimal storage and flow of materials to the point of consumption
- Support ICT with the design and implementation of ICT systems aimed at automation, digitisation and optimisation of supply chain and warehousing logistics
- Manage and monitor the daily Warehousing operations
- Manage and lead the team
REQUIERD EDUCATION
Essential : A relevant Bachelor/Diploma Degree in Pharmacy
Desired : Pharmaceuticals and Medical supplies management
REQUIERD EXPERIENCE
Essential : At least 3 years’ warehousing and logistics management experience in a Healthcare/Pharmaceutical environment
Desired : Pharmaceuticals and Medical supplies management
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and application of financial management principles
- Supply chain processes and principles
- Relevant regulatory requirements related to pharmaceuticals and medical supplies in the SA
- Strong business/commercial acumen
- Financial analysis
- Negotiation skills
- Policy formulation and implementation
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite)
- Warehousing and logistics future trends and best practices
- Project Management
- Knowledge of 3 rd party logistics practices
