- Store Person / Driver role at a global air freight forwarder
- Located in the Northern Suburbs with free parking on site
- Offering full time hours with overtime
- $32 per hour - $35 per hour + super + any overtime or weekend hours
THE COMPANY:
This instantly recognisable, global freight forwarder is on the lookout for a Store Person/ HR Driver for their busy and dynamic air freight warehouse in Melbourne's North-West.
They operate 7 days a week, in a rostered environment with weekend, overtime and public holiday work required. This global organisation encourages a 'can do' culture within their warehouse team to provide a positive team environment.
THE ROLE:
As a Store Person / Driver, you will be required to work Monday - Friday. Start times vary from 5am - 8am depending on freight.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Store Person / Driver will be responsible for:
- Collecting and delivering freight directly to and from the Airlines to maintain security and the timely handling of freight for customers
- Build export consols both Air and Sea
- Manual handling of freight to and from trucks, aircraft equipment and sea freight containers
- Loading and unloading of freight using a forklift
ABOUT YOU:
You will have:
- Experience working in air freight, freight forwarding, import and/ or export-related industries
- A switched on and hardworking attitude
- Forklift Licence
- HR Truck Licence (desirable)
- Able to pass a Police Check
